Before you decide

How to choose.

Start with your floors: carpet and embedded hair need different strengths from everyday hard-floor cleaning. Decide how much mop and bin care you want the dock to handle, then measure furniture and dock clearance. Suction numbers alone do not tell you which robot cleans better.

Our four options cover different jobs, not a universal ranking. Published tests inform the trade-offs; firmware, floor surfaces and clutter can change results. We have not tested these robots ourselves.

Consider for simpler vacuuming with less bin emptying

RoborockQ7 M5+ with auto-empty dock

Listed by maker

Checked 4 October 2026 against Roborock US product page. Product page has a purchase option. Confirm selected package and delivery availability at the shop.

About the evidence: The independent test used Q7 M5 with its basic charging dock. The reviewer identifies M5+ as the same robot with an added emptying dock; this is not a separate performance test of that dock. Mop cloth compatibility confirmed, but its maker listing showed sold out at the check.

Start here if vacuuming matters more than automated floor washing, and you can clear small objects before a run. The plus package adds bin emptying; it does not turn the basic mop into a washing system.

What published sources say

3 linked sources

RTINGS found good everyday debris pickup from the Q7 M5 but weak small-object handling. Its review identifies the M5+ as the same robot with a self-emptying dock. Roborock supplies a static mop, so pad washing remains a manual task.

Sources: Roborock — product specifications and package · RTINGS — Q7 M5 test and M5+ variant explanation · Roborock — Q7 M5+ replacement mop cloths

Reasons to consider

  • Useful vacuuming results in the linked base-model test
  • Auto-empty dock included in the plus package

Worth knowing

  • No small-object recognition; clear cords and toys
  • Mop pad needs manual care

Consider for hard floors and an automated mop dock

MOVAP10 Pro Ultra (original generation)

Listed by maker

Checked 4 October 2026 against MOVA US product page. Product page has a purchase option. Confirm selected package and delivery availability at the shop.

About the evidence: The TriCut detangling brush is an optional purchase, not included.

Consider the original P10 Pro Ultra when your home is mostly hard flooring and you want a dock that washes and dries the pads. Its carpet limitations matter more than its long feature list if most of your home is carpeted.

What published sources say

3 linked sources

RTINGS found effective obstacle handling and useful hard-floor pickup, but poor embedded-hair removal and missed carpet edges. MOVA lists extending brushes and mops plus a dock that empties dust, refills water, washes pads and dries them. Those features reduce chores without eliminating cleaning and tank care.

Sources: MOVA — product specifications and package · RTINGS — original P10 Pro Ultra test · MOVA — accessory kit listing for original P10 Pro Ultra

Reasons to consider

  • Obstacle handling stood out in the linked test
  • Dock washes and dries mop pads

Worth knowing

  • Weak embedded pet-hair pickup on carpet in the linked test
  • Original generation; Gen2 is a different product

Consider for low furniture and easier navigation

RoborockSaros 10R with tank dock

Listed by maker

Checked 4 October 2026 against Roborock US product page. Product page has a purchase option. Confirm selected package and delivery availability at the shop.

About the evidence: Saros 10 mop cloths and accessory packs are not a substitute for Saros 10R parts.

Consider the 10R when furniture clearance and obstacle handling justify a more elaborate machine. Measure your furniture and dock space first. The slim body is a useful design feature, not a guarantee that it will enter every gap.

What published sources say

3 linked sources

RTINGS found strong hard-floor pickup and obstacle handling, with less convincing embedded pet-hair results. Roborock specifies a 79.8 mm body without a tall rotating LiDAR turret. The standard dock handles dust and mop care, while its water tanks still need attention.

Sources: Roborock — product specifications and package · RTINGS — Saros 10R test · Roborock — Saros 10R mop cloths (not Saros 10)

Reasons to consider

  • Low-profile robot body
  • Good obstacle handling in the linked test

Worth knowing

  • Embedded pet hair can need repeated passes
  • Tank dock still requires water and cleaning chores

Consider for a robot and occasional fabric spot cleaning

eufyOmni E28 with portable deep cleaner

Listed by maker

Checked 4 October 2026 against eufy US product page. Product page has a purchase option. Confirm selected package and delivery availability at the shop.

About the evidence: The fabric cleaner is manually operated; the E28 page offers separate accessory bundles.

Consider E28 only if the detachable fabric cleaner is something you will use and your floors are mainly hard surfaces. For carpet-heavy homes or embedded pet hair, weigh the limitations carefully before paying for the extra tool.

What published sources say

3 linked sources

The E28 combines a roller-mop robot with a detachable spot cleaner in its dock. RTINGS found useful hard-floor pickup but weak carpet cleaning and unimpressive robot stain removal. The fabric tool is a separate, manually operated feature; it does not make the robot a carpet washer.

Sources: eufy — product specifications and package · RTINGS — Omni E28 test · eufy — E28/E25 accessory pack

Reasons to consider

  • Detachable fabric spot cleaner
  • Dock handles dust emptying and roller care

Worth knowing

  • Weak carpet and pet-hair results in the linked test
  • The spot cleaner needs to be used by hand
